RECOGNITION SUB-COMMITTEE 9-APRIL-1985 11/85
The Recognition Sub-Committee met in the Humber Room, Authority Office, 5 Shoreham
Drive, North York, on Tuesday, April 9, 1985 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

1985 HONOOR ROLL AWARDS - NOMINATIONS AND PROGRAM

Seconded by: Jesse A. Bryson
IT WAS AGREED AND THE SUB-COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT:
(1) the ~985 Honour Roll Awards tree planting ceremony be held on
Friday, May 31st, 1985 at the Authority Office, following the Authority
meeting, and that the following receive Honour Roll Awards, consisting
of the planting of a tree suitably marked with a plaque

(2) the program be as follows

be invited to participate and to deliver the invocation.
RECOGNITION POLICY
The Authority Recognition policy was reviewed and the proposed amendments to
the Policy were discussed.

IT WAS AGREED AND THE SUB-COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT
The Authority Recognition Policy, as amended, and appended to the Minutes of
Executive Committee Meeting #4/85 be approved.
1985 SERVICE RECOGNITION AWARDS

Seconded by Jesse A. Bryson
IT WAS AGREED AND THE SUB-COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT:
(1) the Annual Garden Party be held on Friday, June 21st, 1985
in the afternoon at Black Creek Pioneer Village. Gold Service
Recognition Awards will be presented to Dr. W. M. Tovell and
W. E. Jones A Silver Recognition Award will be presented to
R. F. M. Yuill; and Lifetime Passes to Mrs. Norah Stoner,
H. H. Clare and J. O. Elliott (Foundation Members);
(2) the program be as follows:
Garden Party Buffet
Master of Ceremonies
Presentation of Service Recognition Awards
RECOGNITION OP MRS. FLORENCE GELL

IT WAS AGREED AND THE SUB-COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT a garden be established on
the Village side of the visitors Centre, and that it be named "The Florence
Gell Garden"
