MINUTES
The Minutes of Meeting #2/65 were presented.

Seconded by: F.A. Wade
RESOLVED THAT: The Minutes of Meeting #2/65, as presented, be
adopted as if read.
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY;

STAFF PROGRESS REPORT
Mr. Sutter presented a Staff Progress Report, to date, as of April
21, 1967.

RESOLVED THAT: The Staff Progress Report on works presently in
progress in the Etobicoke-Mimico Watershed, be received.
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY;
ETOBICOKE CREEK AT DUNDAS STREET
The action taken by the Flood Control and Water Conservation Advisory
Board was reviewed, concerning the Etobicoke Creek at Dundas Street.
Mr. Wade took the Chair.

THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The Authority concur in the recommendat-
ions of the Flood Control and Water Conservation Advisory Board in

connection with the proposed channelization of the Etobicoke Creek
in the vicinity of Dundas Street.
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY;
SNELGROVE RESERVOIR
Some discussion took place in respect to the scheduling of the
proposed Snelgrove Reservoir.

THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: WHEREAS there is a constant threat of
flooding on the Etobicoke River during periods of high run-off; and
WHEREAS there is an extremely low summer flow in the Etobicoke
River; and
WHEREAS little or no action has been taken toward the construction
of the Snelgrove Reservoir, which is included in the Flood Control
Plan of the Authority,
THAT the Authority give the highest possible priority to the con-
struction of the Snelgrove Reservoir.

mencing at 2:00 p.m., with a Tour of various projects on the
Etobicoke-M~ico Watershed.

EROSION CONTROL - MIMICO CREEK

THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The Authority concur in the recommend-
ation of the Executive Committee with regard to control of erosion
at the rear of Oakfield Drive on the M~ico Creek in the Borough
of Etobicoke.

ADJOURNMENT
On Motion, the Meeting adjourned at 4:15 p.m., and viewed the new
Authority film - "Flood Control and Water Conservation".
