Director of Operations C. C. Core F. McKechnie H. M. Griggs C. F. Kline V. Vignale Dr. G. Ross Lord F. L. Lunn E. F. Sutter MINUTES: The Minutes of Meeting No. 1/60 were presented. Res. #1 Moved By:- F. McKechnie Seconded By:- C. F. Kline Resolved That:- the Minutes of Meeting as presented, be adopted as if read. Carried Unanimously. BRAMPTON ENGINEERING: Res. No. 1/60 #2 Moved By:- C. F. Kline Seconded By:- H. M. Griggs The Board Recommends That:- when the Engineering Report of the Etobicoke River in the Town of Brampton is available, that this Board be invited to meet jointly with the Flood and Pollution Control Advisory Board to study the Report. AliTON FLOOD PLAIN LANDS: '.es. #3 Carried Unanimously. Moved By:- F. McKechnie Seconded By:- V. Vignale The Board Recommends That:- the Staff investigate the possibility of obtaining the use of Flood Plain Lands at Malton Airport as a Conservation Area. Carried Unanimously. ENGINEERING STUDY -- MAIN'S CREEK: Res. #4 Moved By:- C. F. Kline Seconded By:- V. Vignale The Board Recommends That:- the Authority carry out a further study of Main's Creek in the Town of Brampton as to the possibility of diverting same. Carried Unanimously. - 2 - K -2 The Meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m. for a Tour of Inspection of Heart Lake. C. C. Core Chairman May 19th, 1961 F. L. Lunn Secretary- Treasurer K -3 REPORT NO. 1 of the ETOBICOKE - MIMICO ADVISORY BOARD (being recommendations to the Executive Committee) 1. When the Engineering Report of the Etobicoke River in the Town of Brampton is available, that this Board be invited to meet jointly with the Flood and Pollution Control Advisory Board to study the Report. 2. The Staff investigate the possibility of obtaining the use of Flood Plain Lands at Malton Airport as a Conservation Area. 3. The Authority carry out a further study of Mains Creek in the Town of Brampton as to the possibility of diverting same.
