Redelmeir I1rs. May Robinson C. Sauriol F. A. Wade F. L. Lunn K. G. Higgs RESOLVED THAT:- the Minutes of Meeting No. 3/62 as presented, be adopt= as if read. Carried Unanimously. STAFF PROGRESS REPORT: Mr. Higgs presented a verbal Staff Progress Report of activities in the Don Watershed. REPORT ON FILL: Res. 772 Moved By:- Miss T. Davidson Seconded By:- Mrs. G. Klinck RESOLVED THAT:- the Staff be requested to prepare a Report for the members of the Board on locations where fill has been dumped in the Don Valley to the detriment of the Vally. Lunn MINUTES: Minutes of Meeting No. 1/63 were presented. Res. Moved by: C. Sauriol Seconded by: K.G. TJaters RESOLVED THAT: The Minutes of Meeting No. 1/63, as presented, be adopted as if read. Carried Unanimously; STAFF PROGRESS REPORT: The Secretary- Treasurer presented a verbal Staff Progress Report of activities in the Don 'atershed. PRESERVATION OF HISTORIC SITES IN THE DON WATERSHED Some discussion took place regarding the desirability of preserving certain historical structures in the Don Valley. Res. 1' Moved by: Miss True Davidson Seconded by: Mrs. Beth Nealson THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The Metropolitan Toronto Parks Department be requested to preserve, as historical sites, the following structures in the Don Valley and, if possible, develop the same as focal points in their parks development: (a) (b) (d; Helliwell Mud Brick Dwelling The remains of the Helliwell Brewery Parshall Terry Dwelling Die Grassi Dwelling ADJOURNMENT: On Motion, the Meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m. H.S.
