PRESENT WERE: Chairman Mrs. J.A. Gardner Vice- Chairman J.N. Duncan Members N.A. Boylen J.A. Bryson C.E. Conroy G.C. Gardhouse Mrs. F. Gell Mrs. D. Hague R.G. Henderson R. Jennings A.A. Mackenzie J.L. Mould H. Pind C.R. Wardlaw Authority Vice - Chairman W.C. Davidson Secretary- Treasurer F.L. Lunn MINUTES: The Minutes of Meeting No. 2/62 were presented. Res. #1 Moved by: C.E. Conroy Seconded by: H. Pind RESOLVED THAT: The Minutes of Meeting No. 2/62, as presented, be adopted as if read. Carried Unanimously; PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING STUDY - EBENEZER RESERVOIR Res. ,#2 Moved by: Mrs. F. Gell Seconded by: G.C. Gardhouse THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The recommendations of the Flood Control and Water Conservation Advisory Board in connection with the prelim- inary engineering study of the Ebenezer Dam and Reservoir be adopted by the Authority. Carried Unanimously; PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING STUDY - MAIN & E. BR. - HUMBER RIVER Res. #3 Moved by: H. Pind C.R. Wardlaw THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The recommendations of the Flood Control and Water Conservation Advisory Board in connection with the prelim- inary engineering study of the Main and East Branches of the Humber River be adopted by the Authority. Carried Unanimously; J -2 -2- PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING STUDY - RECREATIONAL PLAN - BOYD RESERVOIR Res. #4 Moved by: C.E. Conroy Seconded by: J.A. Bryson THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The recommendations of the Flood Control and Water Conservation Advisory Board in connection with the prelim- inary engineering study of the Recreational Plan for the Boyd Reser- voir be adopted by the Authority. Carried; FUTURE ENGINEERING Some discussion took place with regard to the appearance of certain engineering structures which have been completed. Res. #5 Moved by: H. Pind Seconded by: Mrs. F. Gell THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: In the future, engineering structures be constructed so that they may be visually acceptable as well as ef- ficient.
