Humber Valley Advisory Board Thursday, October 3, 1963
The Humber Valley Advisory Board met in the Board Room of the Authority
Office in Vaughan Township on Thursday, October 3rd, 1963, commencing
at 10.00 a.m. The first portion of the meeting was held jointly with
the Flood Control and Water Conservation Advisory Board.

The Minutes of Meeting No. 2/62 were presented.

RESOLVED THAT: The Minutes of Meeting No. 2/62, as presented, be
adopted as if read.

PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING STUDY - EBENEZER RESERVOIR

THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The recommendations of the Flood Control
and Water Conservation Advisory Board in connection with the prelim-
inary engineering study of the Ebenezer Dam and Reservoir be adopted
by the Authority.

PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING STUDY - MAIN & E. BR. - HUMBER RIVER

THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The recommendations of the Flood Control
and Water Conservation Advisory Board in connection with the prelim-
inary engineering study of the Main and East Branches of the Humber
River be adopted by the Authority.

PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING STUDY - RECREATIONAL PLAN - BOYD RESERVOIR

Seconded by: J.A. Bryson
THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: The recommendations of the Flood Control
and Water Conservation Advisory Board in connection with the prelim-
inary engineering study of the Recreational Plan for the Boyd Reser-
voir be adopted by the Authority.

FUTURE ENGINEERING
Some discussion took place with regard to the appearance of certain
engineering structures which have been completed.

THE BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT: In the future, engineering structures be
constructed so that they may be visually acceptable as well as ef-
ficient.
